Restorative Yoga
Therapeutic Program Beginning/Continuing - An introduction to yoga poses, breathing, and relaxation techniques, with emphasis on posture, alignment, and body awareness. Beginners are encouraged to take this course several sessions. This level is also recommended for students returning to yoga, as a review. Morning

Continuing/Intermediate - For more experienced students who have completed several sessions of yoga and have an understanding of the fundamentals. These classes provide an opportunity for refining and adding depth to basics as well as introducing more challenging poses. Class level September vary depending on participants and teachers. Morning

Restorative Yoga
*Beginners with prior yoga experience welcome Therapeutic Program - For individuals needing more attention and a gentler approach, this program facilitates the healing process with the therapeutic application of Iyengar yoga and the use of restorative poses. Class is assisted by physical therapist Stephen Beckett and is approved by several area medical practitioners. Please make check payable to Therapeutic Program for this class.
Vinyasa/Power Yoga - An Astanga based aerobic class which includes stretching and a vigorous sequence of poses connected by breath and movement. Some basic prior yoga experience is helpful, but not essential. All levels, including beginners are welcome.
Pre-natal Yoga - While all yoga classes are beneficial for pregnancy, this class provides a supportive environment for women at this special time. Learn poses, breathing and relaxation techniques which make the pregnancy more comfortable and facilitate the birthing process. Class is assisted by nurse/midwife Kathy Beach. (class September be pro-rated to accomodate your due date.)
Post-natal Yoga - A special yoga class for mothers and their babies.
Meditation - This special class is designed to include a practice of yoga posture with equal time devoted to meditation instruction and techniques. An in depth exploration of meditation techniques utilizing relaxation, breathing, and mindful awareness. Learn how to meditate or improve your current practice.
